The ceasefire in southern Lebanon has done little to stop Israeli military operations in the region. But that’s not surprising, right? Israeli forces carried out artillery fire, detonations, demolitions and bulldozing operations across several areas on Tuesday, destroying entire villages. Reports included activity in Zibqine, Haddatha, Baraachit, Haris and the Marj’youn plain. In Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, residents’ property was reportedly set on fire. The attacks were also reported Monday, when Israeli forces struck areas near Zibqine, Deir Seryan and Wadi al-Hujeir with airstrikes and artillery fire.
