Install and use Sysinternals Autoruns for Linux and Process Explorer for macOS

Microsoft shipped Autoruns 1.0 for Linux and Process Explorer 1.0 for macOS, bringing two familiar Sysinternals utilities past the Windows-only line. On Linux, Autoruns is a CLI scanner that catalogs startup hooks such as systemd services, cron jobs, and browser add-ons. On macOS, Process Explorer is a native client with a live process tree, code-signing review, and Apple Silicon core detail. That same drop also refreshes the Linux builds of ProcDump, Procmon, and Sysmon, plus multiple Windows tools. This walkthrough explains what the two ports do, how to install them, and where they still fall short. Source
