Purview now labels untouched SharePoint files

Microsoft Purview’s auto-label policy for SharePoint Online is now generally available, letting organizations apply document libraries’ default sensitivity labels to existing files—even if nobody edits them. The policy helps close a protection gap that can leave older files unlabeled and accessible to AI tools. But it can target only 10 sites at a time. Source
