ChatGPT will merge Work into Chat and share usage with Codex

ChatGPT will fold its Work tab into Chat, giving users one place to handle conversations and more involved tasks. The trial starts with a small group in the coming weeks, while Codex remains a separate section in the desktop app. From December, Plus, Pro, and Business subscribers will also draw ChatGPT and Codex usage from one shared allowance.
