Lithuanian companies partner on tokenised money market funds for client fund safeguarding

Lithuanian capital markets infrastructure provider Axiology has partnered with electronic money institution VIALET to introduce tokenised money market funds (MMFs) for client fund safeguarding and corporate treasury management. The collaboration will allow VIALET to diversify its holdings beyond individual banks while maintaining access to cash during the day through a separate liquidity provider arrangement. VIALET manages approximately €150 million in assets and processed €6 billion in gross payment volume over the 12 months preceding the announcement.
