For years, the standard advice has been to skip “optimizer” apps altogether, since Windows doesn’t really need them. So when I found out Microsoft had built its own free tool for slow PCs, I had to see if it was actually worth using. The app is called PC Manager, and yes, it promises to make your PC run smoother.
