Andy Burnham’s former adviser has discussed the possibility of Labour working with the Green Party after attending the latter's party conference in Brighton.Kevin McKeever, who advised the Prime Minister during his Makerfield by-election win this year, said he could foresee a scenario where the parties could work together to prevent a Reform government.As to why he was personally attending the Green Party conference, he said: “I’m definitely not switching sides, but it's always good to hear what others are saying.”Looking ahead to the next vote, he said Mr Burnham’s objective should be to return a Labour majority.
