Windows 11 26H2 Installation Assistant now blocks 24H2 and 25H2 upgrades

Microsoft’s Windows 11 26H2 Installation Assistant now refuses to upgrade PCs running 24H2 or 25H2, directing them away from an unnecessary full upgrade. Those versions can move to 26H2 through a smaller enablement package; the Assistant still works for older releases, including 23H2. Source
