For the last few days, all the buzz has been about Meta’s new agent, Muse:Old-timers with an especially good memory will remember that this is not the first time that Meta tried to build agents. Back in 2015, when Meta was still called Facebook, Facebook made a big splash, dutifully picked up across the tech media, with their Project M:Alas, it never really took off.Part of the problem was that M was expensive for Facebook to run; so they only rolled it to about 10,000 users, and never scaled it to the general public.
