Cubase Bio, a Stockholm-based spatial biology company developing technology to map biological systems in true three dimensions, has partnered with Austria’s HeartBeat.bio to advance 3D spatial transcriptomics for cardiovascular drug discovery. The companies have secured approximately €1 million in Eurostars funding for the FACTS-3D project, which will combine Cubase Bio’s proprietary 3D spatial transcriptomics platform with HeartBeat.bio’s human cardiac organoids to study myocardial fibrosis, a key driver of heart failure.
