Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin gathered Monday at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, where they discussed expanding diplomatic, economic and security cooperation. While these countries deepen their relationships and strengthen an emerging multipolar alliance, the White House wants everyone to know that President Trump is meeting with Xi, too.
