Asda shoppers to see major change as digital price tags arrive in 500 stores

Asda has rolled out electronic shelf edge labels across its entire convenience store network, with more than 1.2 million digital displays now in place at all 517 Asda Express locations.The supermarket chain worked alongside technology provider Vusion and its partners Renovotec and HL Display to complete the installation programme.The digital labels eliminate the need for staff to manually swap out more than 120,000 paper price tickets every week, a huge operational burden for the retailer's small-format stores.This is great news for Britons who want to know more about the foods they are purchasing.
