A new bus stop has been installed in a Derbyshire village, even though a bus hasn't stopped there for almost 10 years.Residents have criticised the installation of a new bus stop in Eggington, near Burton-upon-Trent, despite the fact that they haven't had a bus service since 2017.The East Midlands Combined County Authority confirmed that the bus stop in Main Street was installed in the event that bus services were returned to the village of Eggington.Local people in the Derbyshire village said they have been forced to drive or get taxis to access services since the hourly V2 Village route was axed in 2017.
