Tether expands tokenization business into Saudi Arabia, starting with real estate

The stablecoin issuer is extending its tokenization business into Saudi Arabia, starting with institutional real estate assets with plans to expand to other asset classes. Tether, best known for issuing USDT, the world’s most widely used stablecoin, is expanding its push into real-world asset tokenization to bring institutional-grade real estate asset onchain in Saudi Arabia. The company said Thursday that its tokenization platform, dubbed Hadron, will provide the technology to issue and manage tokenized real estate assets for institutional investors in the country.
