Vilnius-based femtosecond laser manufacturer LITILIT has secured an €8 million loan from Lithuanian National Development Bank ILTE to develop FEMODA, a modular femtosecond laser system for industrial applications. The project has a total value of €10 million, with LITILIT contributing the remaining €2 million. FEMODA is being developed to deliver up to 1,000 W of optical power through 10–20 beam channels, with potential applications including metal tool production, surface coatings, and manufacturing processes in electronics, displays, and semiconductors.
