WATCH: Pet parrot returns to his owner NINE years after being stolen

A pet parrot has miraculously returned home to his owner after being stolen nine years ago.Speaking to GB News, owner Robert Mortimer told Martin Daubney: "I thought, honestly, after two years, he's be dead. And obviously I just gave up."But obviously when I got the phone call just under a week ago that someone had found him in the Ikea car park, the lady said she'd found him, she said there were over a hundred people who'd phoned up and said he was theirs. "So she took him and found that he had a microchip, and when she did some digging, obviously he had his name and my old address, but somehow the police database had my telephone number, and said they'd got my parrot."WATCH ABOVE.
