Microsoft has patched CVE-2026-68820, a Windows WinSock privilege-escalation vulnerability already being exploited in the wild. The flaw affects Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server releases from 2012 through Server 2025, making the August updates a high-priority deployment for administrators. Source
