Princess makes fresh start at university after returning home to be with ill mother

Princess Ingrid Alexandra began a fresh chapter today as she arrived at the University of Oslo for her first day as an exchange student.The 22-year-old future Queen of Norway will be studying within the Faculty of Social Sciences, having transferred from the University of Sydney in Australia.Her decision to relocate back to Scandinavia was driven by her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit's, illness.The 52-year-old underwent a lung transplant procedure in June after she was diagnosed with chronic pulmonary fibrosis in 2018.
