Stanford and Arc Institute researchers have used AI to create complete bacteriophage genomes that work in living bacteria. Sixteen synthetic phages replicated in E. coli, with one outperforming the natural ΦX174 by up to 65 times and a phage cocktail defeating resistance in three bacterial strains. Source
