Escaping Google doesn't mean losing Gmail — here's how I did it without the hassle

I'm at my wit's end with Google. I'm tired of being monitored 24/7 for all the activity I do, whether it's writing emails or saving media to Google Drive to "improve their AI." Unfortunately, you can't really opt out of their data collection, because they will either continue collecting a portion of it regardless or disable select services (e.g., Gemini blocks you from past chats).
