Stockholm & Helsinki-based defence tech startup Monava has secured an undisclosed investment round led by Gungnir Capital, with participation from Foundry Ventures and Hede Capital, to accelerate the commercialisation of its AI-powered acoustic drone detection technology. The company develops passive sensors that use advanced acoustics and artificial intelligence to detect, track and classify drones without emitting signals that could be detected or jammed, addressing gaps left by conventional radar systems.
