NuGet API keys get a 30-day limit—and old keys expire November 1

NuGet is the package manager for.NET that lets developers find, install, update, and publish reusable code libraries—called packages—for.NET applications. NuGet.org is a free service provided and hosted by Microsoft for publishing and distributing public.NET packages. Microsoft will sharply shorten NuGet.org API key lifetimes, leaving.NET package publishers with only 30 days for new keys after August 17, 2026. Existing keys created before that date will all expire on November 1, forcing teams to update publishing workflows or move to NuGet Trusted Publishing. Source
