Microsoft Teams adds a Report a concern button for deepfake meetings

Microsoft Teams is adding a “Report a concern” feature that lets participants flag phishing, impersonation, scams, social engineering, deepfakes, and other suspicious activity during meetings or in meeting chat. Microsoft is also introducing controls to detect external meeting bots, with both features expected to roll out fully in August 2026. Source
