A female Royal Navy sailor has been jailed and dismissed from the service after a court martial found her guilty of sexually assaulting four shipmates aboard a warship.Able Seaman Sian Dowsett, 25, was convicted of six counts of sexual assault against male and female colleagues while serving as a chef on the Type 45 destroyer HMS Dauntless.Sentencing Dowsett at Bulford Military Court in Wiltshire, Assistant Judge John Atwill branded her "a predator" who carried out a "disgraceful" campaign of intimidation against fellow sailors.The court heard Dowsett deliberately targeted newly arrived crew members who she believed would be less likely to report her behaviour.
