The Apple TV show For All Mankind is one of the best science fiction shows of the past decade. It's set in an alternate version of history where the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union never stopped, resulting in technological advancement being far ahead of schedule. We have video calls by the 1980s, electric cars are widespread by the '90s, and we have a manned base on Mars by the early 2000s.
