Helsinki-based Aiven has acquired fellow Finnish startup Flow AI, a developer of infrastructure for production-grade analytical AI agents, in a move aimed at bringing AI agents closer to production data and accelerating its AI platform roadmap. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Aiven provides a managed open-source cloud data platform that helps organizations run data services across multiple cloud providers, while Flow AI develops the runtime, data layer, and evaluation tools that enable SaaS companies to embed reliable AI agents into their products.
