German state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern replaces Microsoft SharePoint with Nextcloud

The German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has launched a digital sovereignty initiative to replace proprietary Microsoft software with open-source alternatives. The state IT service provider, DVZ-MV, is coordinating the migration of over 50,000 public sector employees to a new collaboration platform.
