Sund & Bælt has paid “much more” for an agreement with the contractors that ensures the first segment of the Fehmarn Belt Tunnel can soon be lowered onto the seabed. This was revealed by Sund & Bælt’s CEO in an interview with Ingeniøren, in which he also acknowledged two mistakes in the long-running dispute over the tunnel trench.
