A cheap streaming stick is the best upgrade my old monitor ever got

I have a hard time getting rid of old tech. For instance, when I upgraded my monitor a couple of years ago, I still kept the old one around. It still worked perfectly, but it wasn’t worth that much on the used market to justify selling it. So it sat there for two years, doing nothing, until I plugged in a $20 Fire TV stick I had lying around.
